Materials needed for the recipe of Abdoogh Khiar:
- A good knife
- An electric chopper for fresh herbs
- A salad bowl
- An ice cube tray
Steps
1 Done | Combine diced cucumbers, minced herbs (mint, basil, chives, tarragon), shredded walnuts, and raisins in a large bowl. |
2 Done | Add black pepper and salt and stir until all the ingredients are well mixed. |
3 Done | Add plain yogurt and stir well. |
4 Done | Stir in 6 to 8 ice cubes to bowl and stir. |
5 Done | Add as much as water as you like and mix thoroughly. The more water you put the more your Abdoogh Khiar will be liquid ! |
6 Done | Serve Abdoogh KhiarAdd bread (crackles) to your Abdoogh Khiar and garnish it with dried mint and rose buds. |
