Halloumi is a delicious cheese made from a mixture of goat and sheep milk. It is very popular in Turkey, Lebanon or Greece. This recipe of grilled Halloumi is a real delicacy that you must try as soon as possible! You can also do a Fried Halloumi recipe!

You can serve this recipe of grilled Halloumi with a fattouche salad or a small green salad and some sliced tomatoes. Enjoy your meal!

Cut your Halloumi

Cut your Halloumi cheese into slices about 1cm thick. Place them in a dish.

Marinate your Halloumi slices

Peel and mince your two cloves of garlic. In a bowl, mix the olive oil with the juice of one lemon, the minced garlic and add a little salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over your Halloumi slices and let them marinate for about 30 minutes.

Grill Halloumi

Once your Halloumi slices have marinated well, grill them on a hot pan or grill for 2 minutes on each side.

Your grilled Halloumi is ready!

Sprinkle your grilled Halloumi with basil, add salt and pepper to taste and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
