Halloumi is a delicious cheese made from a mixture of goat and sheep milk. It is very popular in Turkey, Lebanon or Greece. This recipe of grilled Halloumi is a real delicacy that you must try as soon as possible! You can also do a Fried Halloumi recipe!
You can serve this recipe of grilled Halloumi with a fattouche salad or a small green salad and some sliced tomatoes. Enjoy your meal!
Steps
1 Done | Cut your HalloumiCut your Halloumi cheese into slices about 1cm thick. Place them in a dish. |
2 Done | Marinate your Halloumi slicesPeel and mince your two cloves of garlic. In a bowl, mix the olive oil with the juice of one lemon, the minced garlic and add a little salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over your Halloumi slices and let them marinate for about 30 minutes. |
3 Done | Grill HalloumiOnce your Halloumi slices have marinated well, grill them on a hot pan or grill for 2 minutes on each side. |
