Yayla Corbasi also called Yogurt çorbasi is a traditional Turkish yogurt and rice soup spiced and flavored with mint.
Steps
1 Done | Cooking riceCook your 200 grams of round rice in 1 liter of salted water for about 20 minutes. Do not drain! |
2 Done | Add the yogurt to the riceIn a large bowl, beat your yogurt and then add it little by little to the rice, mixing carefully to obtain a smooth texture. |
3 Done | Seasoning of the Yayla corbasiIn a small container, melt the butter, add the dried mint and pour the mixture over your yogurt and rice soup. Finally, season with a little chilli. |
4 Done | Your yogurt soup is ready!And there you have it, a real Turkish yogurt soup at home! Serve it hot and don't hesitate to put the chilli powder on the table for your guests! You can also add a basil leaf for decoration. Enjoy :) |
