Bulgur Pilavi is traditionally eaten as an accompaniment to Turkish kebabs. You can also eat it with any other meats or even on its own. Bulgur Pilavi can also be eaten cold.

To start, finely chop your onions, seed the red pepper and cut it into small cubes.

Heat a little olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat and brown your chopped onions while stirring.

Add the diced red pepper and cook for 1 minute. Then add the tomato puree then salt and pepper generously. Keep stirring for a few minutes.

Stir in the bulgur and butter, then pour in the broth and mix so that the tomato paste can dissolve in the liquid. Cover the pot, lower the heat and cook, 15 to 20 minutes, until the broth is absorbed.
